Copleston Sixth Form Crowned Inaugural EABL 3×3 National Champions
- Updated: January 11, 2017

Copleston Sixth Form were crowned the first ever EABL 3×3 National Champions after prevailing over Bournville 15-13 in the final on Wednesday at City of London Academy in Southwark.
The winners were presented their award by NBA All-Star and Indian Pacers’ Paul George, who is in town for the NBA London game on Thursday night, and couldn’t have been happier with the win.
“It feels good to be a 3×3 National Champion,” said Copleston guard Fuller, who led the Final scoring with 10 points.
“All our guys played a part in the win, we had guys hitting threes, our big man was getting rebounds, I thought I did a good job scoring, but it was a big team effort to get the win.
“It’s been a world class experience, we’ve had Paul George come in and speak to us, it’s just good vibes. It’s been very competitive, 3×3 is a quick game so everyone is easily showing what they can do and I think it speaks wonders about our club to come out and get the win.”
