Leicester Arena to Host Second Annual Academy League 3×3 Finals

The second annual EABL and WEABL 3×3 National Finals arrive in Leicester in the New Year at the Leicester Arena on Wednesday, January 10th.

Following on from the Regional Qualifiers in November, Copleston, Charnwood, Myerscough, Barking Abbey, Oaklands and Loreto will be battling out in the EABL National Finals, while Copleston, Charnwood, Myerscough, Oaklands, Barking Abbey and Nottingham will face off in the WEABL National Finals.

The event will tip off at 1pm with final presentations scheduled for approximately 6pm.

EABL & WEABL Chairman Jesse Sazant said:

“We are looking forward to our second WEABL and EABL 3×3 national finals. The standard at all 3 regional qualifiers was really high. With 3×3’s growing profile, we are proud to be at the forefront pushing it forward.”

“It’s a great showcase event for 3on3 basketball that has currently seen huge growth globally. “

All teams qualified from regional competitions at Leicester, Copleston and Myerscough, which featured every team involved in the EABL and WEABL competitions. The top two finishers from each region qualified for the Finals.

The EABL Pools are as follows:
Pool A: Charnwood, Myerscough, Barking Abbey
Pool B: Loreto, Copleston, Oaklands

The WEABL pools are as follows:
Pool 1: Oaklands, Barking Abbey, Nottingham
Pool 2: Copleston, Myerscough, Charnwood
