Player of the Week: Ethan Price

Ethan Price has been named EABL Player of the Week, as the Copleston High School forward had a Week 2 performance of 28 points, 17 rebounds and 5 blocks.

The 6’9″ freshman forward helped Copleston to a 102-76 home win against Oaklands College, as the Suffolk-based academy moved to 1-1 in the EABL Southern Conference.

Upon receiving the award, Price praised his teammates, saying, “It was a huge team effort to get a very important win against Oaklands. We know how important protecting our home court is going to be if we want to make the play-offs so this was all about a collective effort and getting the win. That being said, any time you receive recognition for your play it’s great.”

Copleston Head Coach Nick Drane added, “Ethan had a great game, but several guys did their job really well against Oaklands and like any award like this, it’s a product of lots of preparation and time spent working towards our goals as a collective unit.”
