With another Wednesday in the book, Week 2 of the EABL season is now complete with a number of intriguing results from across the country.

In the battle of last season’s bottom two sides, BHASVIC and USP College enjoyed a great contest as BHASVIC grabbed an 88-84 win. Demi Adeyeye scored 26 for the hosts, but both he and his USP team mates couldn’t slow down Lewis Jee, who finished on 33 points.

In the North, Derby got their season off to a winning start following a high scoring 115-90 victory over Sheffield College. Forward Blake Bowman dropped 33 points for the Trailblazers, with Tayo Meade-Bramble adding 23 more.

After an impressive showing in the opening stage of the EYBL, Myerscough kept on rolling to beat Newcastle Eagles Academy 90-50 and move to 1-0. Joel Moore continued his good early season form for the Eagles with 17 points, whilst the visitors were paced by 18 points from Dan Gargan.

Finally, James Watt enjoyed a 4th quarter surge to claim a tied game after 3 quarters against SGS College, eventually running out 78-70 winners. Ian Rodriguez top scored for JWC with 27 points, including 11 in the final frame.
