EABL Player of Week 11 – Ian Rodriguez
- Updated: November 29, 2019
Helping his side James Watt College to a 96-72 victory over Sheffield College, Ian Rodriguez is this week’s EABL Player of the Week.
The 6’3” winger scored 38 points and four rebounds, adding five assists and three ball steals as well as an efficiency rating of 45.
On his award, Rodriguez said: “I’m very happy with that nomination, it pushes me to work harder every day.
“I’m very grateful to play in this league, I want to thank my coach, general manager, and especially my teammates that help me to improve as a player.
“I also want to dedicate my nomination to my parents that are in Spain, but they help me everyday, believe in me and they give me confidence to continue improving in my game, be a better player and achieve my dreams and goals.”
His coach added: “Ian deserves this award very much due to the many high level performances he’s put in for us. His offensive performance this week in particular was a joy to watch.”
