Game Day Recap – Week 15

Five games made up week 15 in the EABL, and the first action of 2020 didn’t disappoint with plenty to enjoy for EABL fans.

Southern Conference leaders Barking remained undefeated on the year following a 93-34 victory over BHASVIC. BA’s Veron Eze dropped 20 points in that one, with Josh Last scoring 17 points in reply for the visitors.

Elsewhere, Canterbury Academy eased to a commanding 100-25 win over USP College thanks to 21 points from Will Raife. Kobbi Banks was the only USP player to make it to double digits, he had 19.

Copleston continued their recent good form with a solid 86-56 W against City of London Academy. The margin of victory provides Copleston with the head to head tiebreaker between the two sides as both programmes vie for playoff positions, Ethan Price continued his good form with a 31 point, 15 rebound double-double.

In the Northern Conference, Myerscough dominated Sheffield College to cap a 102-33 performance, moving the North West side to 10-0 on the season. Coach Hopkins side led early in this one, building a 55-23 lead by the half and never looking back.

SGS College gave Derby a tough ride in the South West but couldn’t secure a victory, with the Trailblazers eventually coming out on top 87-78. Blake Bowman had 27 points come the final buzzer, with Finlay Woodward top scoring for SGS on 17.
