EABL All Time Stats Leaders – 2019/20 Update

With the 2019/20 regular season wrapped up, we’re taking a look back at some of the best performances from EABL players this season. How do those performances stack up throughout the history of the league? And who holds the current league records for stats like points per game, best three point percentage, efficiency and more?

After teaming up with Dave Owen Basketball and the incredible voluntary content he creates outside of his time with Basketball England, we can take a look at some of the best performances through the years, adding in this year’s efforts to see how they compare.

2019/20 saw four players crack the all time top three across the eight categories tracked. James Watt College’s Josh Ijeh was the only player able to record a best ever season, with his 18.2 rebounds per game easily coming out as the best in EABL history.

“Coming out as the league’s best ever rebounder really means a lot to me as rebounding is a key part of my game,” said Ijeh.

“Whether it’s defensive rebounds to give the ball to the guard or offensive rebounds for second chance points, I just try do what I can for my team.

Other notable performances from 2019/20 include:

  • Derby’s Blake Bowman – 27.6 points per game (2nd all time)
  • JMA’s David Chive – 52.3% 3-pt percentage (2nd all time)
  • Derby’s Charlie Brown – 6.8 assists per game (3rd all time)
