Summer Showcase – Team of Week 4

In the final batch of action before the mid-competition break imposed by half term, plenty of young stars shined in the EABL sky, making for another competitive race for a spot in our Team of the Week.

Great Osobor’s stunning performance against Derby saw the talented forward tabbed with Player of the Week honours, whilst Myerscough team mate Franklin Agu makes it back-to-back TOTW selections following a 19 point, 11 rebound double-double.

Kane Daley has been hot all summer long, and week four was just another example of the young scorer’s talents. Oaklands saw off Itchen 75-74 in a nail biter, and Daley’s 24 points and 13 boards and six assists were a huge difference maker.

Sam Cheshire continues to excel for James Watt and week four was no exception, with a 33 point explosion that helped the Birmingham side past Sheffield 78-74.

The final spot is taken by CoLA’s exciting young star Toibu Lawal. The London programme managed to edge past Canterbury 61-54 and Lawal controlled the glass throughout with 15 boards (five on offence) to go with 11 points and a block.
