EABL recap – 30 November

Four EABL fixtures took place this week as teams wrapped things up for November.

BMET 39-89 Myerscough College

Myerscough got back to winning ways on the road as they bounced back from last week’s loss to Charnwood.

Dayvantia Campbell-Deeble (21pts) led the way as the visitors went level with SGS at the top of the Northern Conference, albeit having played a game more.

The Sheffield College 72-83 Derby College Trailblazers

Derby sealed their fourth win of the season on the road at Sheffield, despite a big performance from Dec Kom (27pts).

Kom may have top scored but it wasn’t enough, Derby were led by
Isaac Thorpe (24pts) as they moved up to third in the standings.

Newcastle Eagles Academy 78-82 The Manchester Magic Academy

Magic continued the road wins trend by seeing off Northern Conference strugglers Newcastle.

Favour Ajaye (23pts) can feel unlucky to finish on the losing side, while there were also impressive performances from Manchester duo
Joe Buchanan (21pts) and Matt Goodwin (19pts).

City of London Academy – Southwark 81-65 John Madejski Academy

The only Southern Conference fixture this week saw CoLA see off the challenge of JMA to pick up their third win of the season.

The hosts had Di-Jani Parkinson (28pts) on top form as he delivered with a huge haul to help them to a comfortable win.
