About

The EABL (Elite Academy Basketball League) is the premier junior basketball competition in the UK, featuring DiSE (Diploma in Sporting Excellence) Institutions – the top Under 19 programmes in the country (Category 1 Academies).

To accompany the elite development of DiSE (formerly AASE) athletes, an elite schools & colleges competition was developed and launched in September 2010.

In partnership with AoC Sport and Basketball England, the EABL (formerly the Under 19 Men’s Premier Schools competition) offers the highest level of School/College competition in the country.

This weekly competition underpins the developmental needs of potential elite athletes by giving them the opportunity to test their skills at the highest level possible during the academic calendar.

The EABL is made up of 15 Category 1 DiSE Institutions, split into two conferences, North and South and is for DiSE Institutions only (the School/College/Programme must be a Category 1 Academy and delivery the DiSE Qualification).

You can follow the EABL on Twitter, Instagram, like us on Facebook, and by subscribing to Basketball England on YouTube.
