Alec Reed Academy vs BHASVIC

Alec Reed beats BHASVIC 89-64 behind 20 points from M.Adan.

Alec Reed started game with a great shooting performance in first period and connected 7 triples which propelled them into a commanding 38-21 lead at end of first period. Going into the 2nd period, the hosts kept their foot on the gas and  with a 20-11 run that extended the lead  to 58-32 at the half.

However, the visiting South-Coast side never looked to give up as they started the 3rd period with more aggressive defence, leading them to some easy transition baskets. Alec Reed responded with a time out allowing them to regain their concentration and come back to controlling game.

Daniel Szatkowski, Head Coach of Alec Reed said:” Our recent results were extremely disappointing so we knew we have to start with good intensity which boys did. Early big lead allowed to me a bigger rotation providing everyone much needed courtime.’’

M.Adan led home team with 20 points, followed by R.Murray with 17 and D.Golovcenko with 14 points. BHASVIC were led by L. Jee with 21 points.

Alec Reed will look to collect another win next week with trip to SEEVIC while BHASVIC will search for first win at CoLA.
