Barking Abbey School v SEEVIC College

Barking Abbey finished up the regular season in the EABL with a strong 99-56 win over visiting SEEVIC College on Wednesday afternoon.

 A 5-4 SEEVIC lead early in the game was swiftly turned into a 26-13 first quarter advantage for Barking Abbey lead by some strong play from Ayo Amolegbe who had nine in the quarter.  The hosts never looked back from that point, winning all four quarters on their way to their seventeenth win of the season.

 26 points from Chris Feeney led the scoring for Barking Abbey.  He was joined by Nathaniel Powell, Spyros Kapsalos, Jordan Oji, Ayo Amolegbe and Jonathan Brown in double figures in a balanced scoring game.

 A short-handed SEEVIC team had strong performances from Tendo Meseorisa who had 16, Harry Gent and Zayaam Ali who both had 13

 Barking Abbey coach James Vear commented

“It was good to finish the regular season with a win.  Now it is time for us to refocus on the upcoming playoffs in this competition.”
