BHASVIC v Canterbury High School

As the end of the season comes to a close, Canterbury played their last game of the regular season against BHASVIC who was coming back from a tough loss against SEEVIC. It was a lopsided match which ended 113-35 in favor of Canterbury.

The home side started the game well however, as the game went on Canterbury stepped up the pressure and BHASVIC couldn’t find any answer on the offensive end to sustain the opponents runs.

BHASVIC Coach James Quinto said after the game “We’ve always bounced back after tough losses, and clearly Monday’s loss to SEEVIC affected us today. We’ve looked at the positives and things to rectify so hopefully we can make some adjustments ready for the last game of the season next week.”

BHASVIC were led by their second-year guard Josh Last who had 9 points and Ben Hayward who had 7 points while Canterbury were led by Milo Gordon and Will Raife who both had 22 points.

BHASVIC welcomes SEEVIC for their last game on the season and Canterbury awaits their opponent for the playoffs.
