However. the guest team did not take their foot off the gas, pushing the ball up the court and making great moves, especially off the ball, ending the game 53-108.
Marco Sanchez, BHASVIC coach said:
“We wanted to show that the good game last week against Copleston was not a coincidence and we wanted to prove to Itchen that the game was not going to be like our first encounter.
However, we played against a very good team that run the court really well and, again, we reacted very late in the game. The only thing we are going to do is keep working as hard as we can and try to bring BHASVIC some more positive results.”
Gen Lindsay, Enoch Quarcoo and Aaron King were the top 3 scorers for BHASVIC with 14, 11 and 7 respectively.
Matt Hughes, Rael Williams and Adam Riabi scored 26, 17 and 17 points respectively for Itchen College
Itchen will take on Copleston in their next game, whilst BHASVIC will take on Canterbury on February 8th.
