John Madejski Academy 119 – 75 BHASVIC

JMA put in a dominant offensive performance against an undermanned  BHASVIC squad, winning 133 – 75 led by 23 points from Jacob Taitte.

A high scoring first quarter ended 33-24 to JMA, David Chive led the charge for JMA with 8 points in the first quarter.

The second frame saw JMA maintain their high scoring with a consecutive 30+ point quarter, while BHASVIC struggled offensively with numerous turnovers and missed opportunities around the basket and managing just 7 points in the second.

The third quarter was more competitive but again JMA won the quarter 30-23. As the game progressed BHASVIC grew more comfortable on both ends and narrowly lost the final quarter 23-21.

JMA’s top scorers were Jacob Taitte with 23, Victor Gadea chipped in with 17 and David Chive finished with 16.

BHASVIC were led by Josh Last with 28 points, while Jarvis Chrter had 11 points, followed by Ben Hayward with 10.

JMA are away to Barking Abbey next week while BHASVIC host COLA.
