Loreto College vs Bradford College

Bradford College continue to look for their first win of the EABL season after going down 91-48 to Loreto College on Wednesday afternoon.

Led by Kingsley Nwagboso’s 25 points, Loreto got off to a fast start and never stopped to look back as they quickly showed their dominance on the court, both inside and outside.

The Manchester trio of Swindle, Gordon and Nwagboso, quickly showed why they had made this years England U18 squad as they scored at will. BCBA attempted to stem the tide but with little depth and no height to contain Nwagbosa it proved too much for them. The half-time score didn’t tell the full story as Loreto led by 14 points but it could have quite easily have been more.

The second half saw Loreto apply further pressure full court and generate a number of fast break opportunities on the back of good defence to pull further away from BCBA. BCBA continued to fight with a number of individual performances, it was however too little too late as Loreto cleared their bench and declared themselves winners with eight minutes to go.

Abolos and Akbary led BRadford with 12 points each, whilst Pharroh Gordon and Joe Swindells added 10 and 12 points respectively for Loreto.

BCBA have the Christmas period to refocus their efforts in an attempt to fight back from this forty-point loss before hosting Priestley College in January.
