Milton Keynes College vs All Saints Academy

Milton Keynes College Trojans defeated All Saints Academy on Wednesday by a score of 83-53 to win the All Midlands Conference in the EABL and head into the play offs as a number 1 seed.

Both teams came out firing and executing their offences as Bromnell led All Saints with 7 first quarter points while Milton Keynes had a more balanced attack with every starter scoring in the 1st quarter. The Trojans won the quarter 21-16.

In the second Milton Keynes stayed consistent scoring another 21 points, while the Trojans defense picked up holding All Saints to just 13 second quarter points. Once again every starter for Milton Keynes scored in the quarter and by half time Max Denham led the Trojans with 10 first half points while league scoring leader Mike New had 9 points and Denzil Guwa added 8. For All Saints Bromnell and Frost score 10 and 9 points each respectively by half time. At half time the score was 42-29.

The 3rd quarter saw All Saints turn the table and win the quarter by a score of 18-17. But by the 4th and final quarter Milton Keynes really put their foot down and won the 4th quarter 24-12. The final game score was 83-53 to Milton. Keynes College.

Michael New led all scorers with 29 points, he also added 9 rebounds 4 steals and 3 assists. Callum Rodger continued his fine play with 15 points and 5 rebounds and Max Denham contributed 14 points and 7 assists. Lee Tievans has 8 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks for the Trojans as well. Brownell led All Saints with 18 points.
