Myerscough College 103 – 69 SGS College

Amari Williams scored a game-high 21 points as Myerscough routed SGS College 103-69 to remain unbeaten in the EABL.

Myerscough, which led wire-to-wire and held a 51-40 halftime advantage, broke the game open with a 25-7 run to start the 3rd quarter and SGS never threatened.

Lewis McGlasson finished with 18 points and Great Osobor added 15 for Myerscough.

“I was really impressed with SGS — They brought the fight to us and played with no fear,” said Myerscough head coach Neal Hopkins. “Ultimately, our defensive effort dictated the result and we were able to string together a solid third quarter.”

Finlay Woodward had 16 points for SGS College in the loss. Marvin Dinnall added 13 and Thomas Browne and Nassim Ladjimi combined for 23.

SGS College welcomes Charnwood next Wednesday and Myerscough is off until Nov. 27 when it faces Manchester.
