SGS College vs Aylesbury Grammar School

SGS College got a 98 to 62 win over Aylesbury Grammar School to finish with the top seed in the EABL South West Conference with an impressive undefeated record of 14-0 .

A high scoring first half gave SGS a 10 point lead at halftime, 48 to 38 but it was a 26 to 14 3rd period that helped SGS secure the victory.

Tiren Manning led all scorers with 20 points and 16 rebounds while Khani Marius and Jack Griffiths added 18 and 17 points each as well as a combined 10 assists.

‘Credit has to go to all our players for the impressive league run. Different players had to step up at different times and make big contributions. The league championship has been a real team effort,’ said SGS Head Coach Andreas Kapoulas.

“Hopefully now we can have everyone healthy for the playoffs.”

SGS will be facing Oaklands for the first round of the playoffs at the SGS WISE campus on Monday 28th April.
