- Updated: December 10, 2013
SGS College extended its undefeated record with a comfortable win 88 to 51 over Henley College on Wednesday afternoon.
SGS started the game with a 30 to 8 first quarter score and led at halftime by 30. The second half was a formality as SGS extended its lead on its way to its sixth consecutive league victory.
Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye led all scorers with 17 points and 6 assists, while Deane Williams recorder another double double performance with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye, who was named player of the week for the second time this season, commented:
“We had a solid start to the game and did not allow Henley to find any kind of rhythm. It was a great way to go to the Christmas break with our record intact and I am really pleased for my teammates and coaching staff.”
The young guard added: “We would like to wish everyone Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!”.
