The Sheffield College vs SGS College

Sheffield College escaped with a close fought 88-84 win away to SGS college on Wednesday. Sheffield made the better start, scoring freely too build an 8 point lead early in the first quarter after some back-to-back three pointers from Bell. SGS would then the gap to 2 points but Sheffield finished the quarter with a 10-4 run to regain the margin. The rest of the game would follow a similar format, with both teams going on runs to take control. However, Sheffield were able to keep SGS at bay with some more timely shooting. The game became intense as the deficit was eventually reduced to 1 inside the last minute, but Sheffield were able to hold on and seal the game from the line.

Taylor had 22 for Sheffield to lead all scorers, whilst Dinnall had 19 for SGS.

SGS will complete their season at home to Newcastle College on 27th February.
