USP College 58 – 94 John Madejski Academy

John Madejski Academy moved to 5-0 in the EABL, continue the winning streak as the Rockets beat USP College 94-58 on Wednesday.

The opening exchanges saw both teams trade baskets, after the 7th minutes Victor Gadea making a pair of 3 pointer plus another basket to end the 1st quarter 23-12 to JMA. The visitors then steamed ahead with a 26-13 2nd quarter to finish the 1st half at 49-27 to JMA.

The second half was much of the same with JMA continuing to build their lead, but USP player Joe Dunbar did score 14 points in the 2nd half to go with some improved defence to keep the game from getting out of hand.

Joe Dunbar led all scorers with 18 for USP whilst Victor Gadea had 15 points for the Rockets.

USP coach Dominic Ng said: “We fought hard and starting to work well together.”

Next week USP College travel to CoLA as JMA host BHASVIC.
