EABL Player of the Week – 3 November 2021

After a brief break for half term, the EABL was back this past week and that means another chance to highlight a standout performance from one of the league’s stars.

After pushing his side to their first win of the season, the EABL Player of the Week is Derby’s Simeon Perry!

Perry was in fine form for the Midlands programme, helping them to a 99-67 road win against SGS College.

The GB youth international dropped 26 points in just 24 minutes of action, adding nine rebounds, an assist and a steal to a fine afternoon’s work.

Speaking about his performance, Perry said: “I’m very grateful for being named Player of the Week after a great win for us in Bristol.

“We have a strong team this year and I know I can’t wait to show the rest of the league what else we can do.”

Head coach Matt Shaw added: “I’m really pleased to see Simeon pick up this award. Sim is playing really well at the moment and was in great form again against SGS.

“He’s been a really good leader for us on and off the floor too.”
