While some fans may have been distracted by the start of their new advent calendars, the EABL crept into the final month of 2021 with six games across the country this past Wednesday.
Here’s a recap of all the action from the penultimate week before the mid-season break, and each score is clickable to access the top scorers/box score where available.
Sheffield moved into joint top spot of the Northern conference with a comfortable 113-48 win over Newcastle.
Picking up their fifth win of the season, Sheffield’s Jude Lambert and former Player of the Week Charles Okafor both excelled to close with a game-high 17 points.
Joe Sheeran and Leo LePerrier paced Newcastle with 10 points apiece, with the Eagles still looking for their first win of the season at 0-6.

Charnwood were able to see off Midlands rivals Derby, beating the Trailblazers 78-64.
The victory sees the Riders join Derby on 12 points, though Charnwood have two fewer losses to their name so far.
In a balanced offensive effort, Kanu Gudza (11pts), Victor Ndoukou (10pts) and Ceejay Hanson (10pts) all played well.
Simeon Perry dropped a game-high 21 points in the losing effort for the visitors.
More eye-popping numbers from former Player of the Week Josh Ijeh pushed James Watt to a 103-72 win over SGS.
The talented forward dropped a stunning 40 points to down the Bristol programme, helping JWC to move to 3-0 in the process.
Jonathan Ntumba (25pts) and Patrick Adedeji (20pts) supported Ijeh well, whilst SGS were led by 21 points from Jason Soodeen.
Myerscough retained a share of top spot in the North with a 98-53 road win in Manchester.
Magic got 11 points from Zak Moore and 10 from Sam Lolenga but it wasn’t enough to keep up with their North West neighbours, who pushed their record to 5-1.
Myerscough were led by Bryan Akanmu and Euan Birch, who both had 20 points.
Just two games in the South this week, beginning with JMA’s fourth win of the season as they beat CoLA 63-46.
Ashley Kitchen (19pts) and Isaac Round (18pts) combined for 37 points, a real difference maker in what proved to be a low-scoring contest.
CoLA were paced by 11 points from Ben Csernak.
Barking retained their perfect record for another week but were pushed all the way by Oaklands, eventually winning 67-65.
Moving to 5-0 on the year, Stephen Astante contributed 17 points and Ignas Juskevicius continued his development with 14 more.
Seth Wylie (13pts) and Oliver Wright (7pts) top scored for the Wolves on an afternoon where Oaklands were left to rue what might have been against the league-leaders.
