EABL Player of the Week – 30 November 2022

A few stats hiccups delayed last week’s Player of the Week award, but that doesn’t make the league’s latest winner any less worthy of the accolade.

After putting the finishing touches on a strong performance that pushed CoLA to an 81-65 home victory against John Madejski Academy, Di-Jani Parkinson is this week’s winner.

Parkinson top scored across the league with 28 points, sinking an impressive four triples to lead his team to an important victory.

The ’04 born guard also added six defensive boards, five assists, three steals and two blocks to close with an efficiency rating of 29.

After winning the award, Parkinson said: “I am grateful and honoured to be selected as EABL player of the week, this couldn’t have been achieved without the support of my teammates and guidance of the coaching staff.

“My teammates and I hope to build on this performance and continue to grow and develop throughout the rest of the season.”
